A system by which children are forced to mandatorily compete against one another - some have been prepared at home, others have impairments that prevent them from succeeding. They are all given the “same course” to go through before the final assessment, yet most of them end up depressed; some even kill themselves.
Now, did I just describe The Hunger Games, or our education system?
Stupid
when an artist wants to show you their art
or a writer wants you to read what they’ve written
it’s quite often an expression of trust
because a poem or a story or a painting are often things that come from the heart
little pieces of the artists themselves
and if they’re willing to share it with you
you should appreciate it
